When you talk about video game classics, you can't help but mention the masterpiece that is the Legend of Zelda series. The main characters, Link and the eponymous Princess Zelda, are very recognisable characters who make amazing costume ideas for Halloween and gaming conventions. There are some cool costumes out there too - these are my two favorites.

Above is the Zelda costumes, which comes with the dress, the purple jacket dress, the waist ornament, shoulder decorations and the beautiful necklace. Meanwhile the Link costume, featured on the right, comes with the tunic, green elf hat, the belt, arm guards, and the thigh high boot tops.

Once you have the costume, you'll need to finish them off with some accessories. If you are going for Link, you can find some amazing replicas of his brown boots here, and there is a great wig styled like his hair on the left. Replicas of the Master Sword and Link's Hyrulian Shield are also available. You can even buy the Ocarina of Time! 

If you've gone for Princess Zelda, below is a great tutorial on how to style your hair in her style. If you don't already have long blond hair, start off with a dark blond or light brown wig like this one.
