We've had a new Tarzan movie out this year, complete with adverts and posters that look like they are trying to sell you men's deodorant. With every popular movie comes a great set of costumes, so lets look at some costumes that have been made for the female protagonist of the Tarzan films, Jane. 

First up, featured at the top of this post, is a blast from the past with the cute southern belle style day dress worn by Jane in the original animated Disney movie. This is quite a hard costume to come across as Jane didn't get turned into a Disney Princess like many other Disney protagonists of the era, but there are a number of dedicated cosplay companies which will make it. The one above comes with the dress, a blue tie, the cute umbrella, and a pair of gloves

If you are a fan of the new movie, then check out the outfit on the left for a replica of Jane's costume from the Legend of Tarzan. Every set of this costume comes with the mini-dress, hat, and matching belt. You can get a hanging chimpanzee plush like the one in the picture here!

The classic Disney characters are a big part of everyone's childhoods, and its never too late to live a bit of nostalgia or casually forget that whole growing up thing. One way to do it is to celebrate Halloween or a child's Birthday party with your own Minnie Mouse costume! There are loads to choose from, so to save you some time, I've narrowed it to my five favorites. Let's take a peek! The most common style of Minnie Mouse costume is a cute polka dot mini dress in the style of Minnie's most common outfit. I've included just two of my favorites here. First, featured above, is her more classic red and white colored outfit, which comes with the adorable dress, the sequin and bow belt, and the mouse ears headband with matching bow.

If you prefer to look pretty in pink (as Minnie has in recent years), then take a look at the beautiful Disguise Glam Minnie costume featured on the right. I love the frilly style of the skirt! I've included two of my favorites here, in a lovely shade of lilac and cute red. Both of these costumes come with the gloves, the choker, swishy tail and mouse ears. Pair them with a matching colored top and any pants and you have yourself a quick, easy and effective looking costume.

Last but not least, below we have a full Minnie Mouse mascot costume! It's really amazing looking and is a great option for those of you who want to go all-out. This is also a particularly cool option if you are throwing a Minnie Mouse themed party for a child and want to have the real thing show up to entertain the kids! Werewolf costumes are actually surprisingly rare, which is odd given that they are one of the most iconic monsters of all time. The toys and the show have been super-popular among people of all ages, and I'm sure there will be a lot of pony fans out on the streets trick-or-treating this Halloween, so why not show off your fandom? My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic is a hit among people of all ages, and it's easy to see why - colorful characters, cute but simple story-lines with good morals, and an imaginative set of toys to go with it. I bet there are loads of kids who'll be dressing up as ponies for Halloween this year! To help those of you shopping for a pony fan out, I've collected all of my favorite My Little Pony character costumes into one place for you to check out. Let's get started! First of all, we have my personal favorite of the ponies, the incredibly colorful Rainbow Dash! She's hardworking, loyal, and has the best design in my opinion. I'm a sucker for rainbows!

You can actually find two Rainbow Dash costume styles out there. Above there is a tutu-dress version, perfect for fancy dress birthday parties where there will be lots of running around and dancing! Each set comes with the dress, a detachable tail, as well as the ribbon bow headband. Pretty cute!

Meanwhile, on the right we have a more realistic style of pony cosplay in the style of the character itself. It comes with the Rainbow Dash jumpsuit, a detachable tail, and the pony face headpiece. That's everything she needs for the perfect Rainbow Dash look.

Alternatively, if you like the more dressy style of costume, there are not one, but two wonderful Pinkie Pie dresses to choose from! The one on the left comes with a detachable tail and the matching pink bow head piece, while the one on the right has a set of leggings in addition to this. Both are available in small, medium and large.

For some reason you have to buy all of the pieces of the Twilight Sparkle costume separately, which is a pain but doable. Above is the tail, on the right is the wig, while the boot covers are available here and the wings here. I love seeing parents out with their kids on Halloween, especially when they've done some co-ordination with their costumes! Its a tonne of fun and is a great way to bond. The cutest pairing of course is a mom-and-baby combo, but its also a difficult one to think up ideas for. Here's some of my suggestions: if you have your own, be sure to post the in the comments! My first suggestion is a shepherdess and baby lamb costume combo, like the two costumes I have featured above. It's super cute! Just make sure not to lose your sheep like Little Bo Peep.
