Top Five Medieval Knight Costumes for Women

Dreamgirl Women's Sexy Royal Warrior Costume, Knight Time
Adult Princess Warrior Costume
In an era where chivalry is almost dead, it's time for us women to take matters into out own hands and emulate the noble knights of old! Even if it's just for Halloween. This post is going to be looking at my top five sexy medieval knight costumes available online so you don't have to go trudging through reams of material to fin what you want. Let's get started...

At the top of the list, and the top of this page, is one for all of you mini-dress fans who want to show off your confidence and a bit of leg this trick-or-treating season. I love the variety of materials that it boasts - with shiny skin tight material for the main dress, chainmail style accents and sweet mesh for the sleeves, this is one eye-catching costume. Each set includes the dress and matching hood: you can find the matching silver gauntlets here, and the shield she is holding is available here.

If you are looking for a more traditional full plate-mail look without too much bulk, you may like the cool Princess Warrior costume featured on the right, loosely based on the look from Snow White and the Huntsman. Each set of this amazing piece comes with the armored tunic and leggings. If you like that tree-themed shield, you can find that here.

InCharacter Costumes, LLC Women's Joan Of Arc Costume
Lady Knight Adult Costume
Above is a costume I've had my eye on for quite a while - it's technically a 'Joan of Arc' costume but works equally when for a more generic knightly look. It is both conservative and sexy, with a gorgeous velvet style skirt with a tantalising split and a simply beautiful plate-mail style bodice. In my opinion, it really combines the best of both worlds. You can find the sword seen in the picture separately here.

Be Wicked Sexy Templar Costume
But anyway, back to the mini-dresses! On the left is another cute and sexy mini-dress, this time with more of a chainmail look. Each set comes with the dress, a body stocking and the matching belt.

Last but not least, if you want a more casual and unusual look, you might like the Be Wicked Sexy Templar costume on the right. With a cool chainmail style tops and some sexy red short-shorts, this is a great costume for dance parties and even use in casual wear.

So there you have it! Those were my top five medieval knight costumes for women this Halloween season. I hope you found on that is perfect for you and a have a lot of fun trick-or-treating. Medieval and Renaissance Maiden and Queen Costumes for Women

InCharacter Costumes Women's Renaissance Maiden Costume
California Costumes
Lady In Waiting Costume
Whether you are heading to a renaissance fair, glamming up for Halloween or heading to a Game of Thrones themed party, the maidens and royalty of the years gone by make a fantastic costume theme. There is an abundance of costumes out there, which can make sifting through them a bit of a process, so to help you out I've narrowed it down to my top five favorites. Let's take a look! Most of these costumes are also available in the UK and EU here.

To start off, take a look at the lovely InCharacter Costumes Renaissance Maiden costume featured above. I just love the velveteen look of the material on this dress, and the two tones of deep and rich colors of this outfit make it look incredibly regal. Each costume comes with the dress and the headpiece with the attached veil.

California Costumes Elegant
Renaissance Lady Costume
Next up, we have the Lady in Waiting costume by California Costumes, a pro costume making company that I frequently use. Haven't been disappointed yet! I love the hanging sleeves, the chequered corset pattern and the faux-underskirt on this costume - everything about this look is subtle but beautiful. Each set of this amazing costume comes with the dress and the matching crown.

If you want a costume that is especially dainty, then take a look at the elegant and feminine baby blue costume on the left. With gentle colors and delicate embroidery, you are sure to stand out from the crowd. Each set of this costumes comes with dress with the attached golden capelet, the jewel pin for the centre of the chest part, and the half-crown headpiece. That's everything you need to look incredible!

Each of these costumes (and the ones below!) would definitely benefit from you picking up a petticoat to go under the skirt. Here is a great one for you to check out. This will give the skirt lift and volume which will accentuate your hips. Petticoats will also grant the costume a more authentic theme, as they were very common in women's outfits back in the day.

InCharacter Costumes Women's Renaissance Princess
Renaissance Medieval Fleur de
Lis Dress Costume
Featured above is definitely the most regal of the medieval costumes that I've seen, a beautiful cream and purple gown with puffy sleeves and stunning embroidery. Each set of this costume comes with the dress with hanging sleevelets and the crown headpiece with attached veil.

For a great 1500's look, you want to take a peek at yonder Fleur de Lis costume on the right. It's a lovely piece with a gorgeous French style pattern and an elegant lace up back. This costumes only comes with the dress - if you want to billowing white sleeves look you can get a chemise separately here. This costume is also available in navy blue.

So there you go! Those were my top five favorite Medieval and Renaissance themed costumes for women. I hope you found one that is perfect for you and have a lot of fun dressing up.
