Corpse Bride Dlx Adult Costume
Big fan of Tim Burton movies? Why not dress up as the titular Corpse Bride for Halloween? Above is the perfect costume for cosplaying as Emily, which comes with the gorgeous dress, the blue and white wig and the matching veil, and you can get a cute dying flowers style bouquet to finish off the look. If you like your costumes to show off a little more skin, you can get a very sexy version of the costume with a revealing asymmetrical skirt here

Next, you'll need to do up your hair! Emily has blue hair, and you can find a great blue wig to pull off the look right here. Last but not least, you'll need some pretty elaborate makeup if you want to look exactly like the Corpse Bride, but it is actually easier to recreate than you might think. Above is a wonderful tutorial that will teach you everything you need to know!

Group Costume Ideas: Alice in Wonderland

Disguise Alice in Wonderland Costume
Here's a really cool group costume idea: Alice and Wonderland. Whether you are a fan of the original Disney movie or Tim Burton's re-imagining (or both!), there's plenty of recognizable and fun characters in the series to give everyone an awesome costume to wear. Get your friends together, pick a character and hit the town. First up, someone has to be the heroine, Alice herself. Check out my top five Alice in Wonderland costumes here.
Disguise Women's Red Queen Deluxe (Movie)
Fans of the Tim Burton movie and Helena Bonham-Carter should have a lot of fun dressing up as the Red Queen, so why not pick a beautiful Red Queen costume for Halloween? There are long, flowing ball gown versions of her outfit, as well as sexy short cuts and lots of matching accessories to complete the look.  Check out my guide on cosplaying as the Red Queen here to see them all!

If the Red Queen isn't your thing, a fantastic alternative is the Queen of Hearts, for a fun night of yelling at your Card Guards to cut off people's heads and playing a little flamingo croquet. There's a wide range of Queen of Hearts costumes, from ball gowns like the one above, to sexy mini-dresses, all in a wide array of color schemes and styles. Check out my Top Five Queen of Hearts costumes if you are interested!

Sexy Wonderland Cat Costume
Here's one of the most famous Wonderland denizens, the elusive and mysterious Cheshire Cat. The dress of the costume above has a sweet matching tail, and you get everything you see in the photo: the stockings, gloves, headband, shrug and choker. I advise picking up a pink petticoat to give the skirt some lift. In addition, here is a really funky pair of shoes that match perfectly!

Sexy Mad Hatter Adult Costume

Last time I went to a fancy dress party, I went as the Mad Hatter, and the costume above is the one I chose! I really recommend it, its super cute. If you fancy cosplaying as the Mad Hatter, this is the type of costume with the most variety - costume creators have really gone wild with color scheme choices and styles. Check out my top five Mad Hatter costumes here to see my personal favorites!.

Queen of Hearts Card Adult Costume
Finally, every Queen needs a card guard. The costume above comes with the card costume and even a matching crown. A cool idea might be to have one girl (like the birthday girl) dress up as one of the queens, and everyone else goes as a guard! So there you go, a quick guide to dressing up as the characters from Alice and Wonderland and hitting the town with your friends. Top Five Mad Hatter Costumes for Women (Alice in Wonderland)

Sexy Mad Hatter Adult Costume
Starline Mad Hatter Costume
Here's another entry in my ongoing series of posts on Alice in Wonderland themed party costumes! The Mad Hatter is one of the most iconic characters from the movies and the book, and there's a whole tonne of cute and sexy Hatter costumes for you to check out, so here are my favorites. Be sure to check out my post on the best Alice costumes, Queen of Hearts costumes, and Red Queen costumes. After all, we're all mad here! From the UK or EU? Go here for loads of great costumes.

Above is the Hatter costume that I personally own, and I love it to bits and highly recommend. Every set comes with everything you see in the picture: the dress, the cape and the cute hat. The skirt can be a little bit flat on its own, so I bought myself a black petticoat to go underneath, and it looks wonderful. Sadly, as my friend pointed out, it has the wrong fraction on the hat, but I didn't mind. Its so silky soft, comfy to wear, super cute and sexy!

On the right is another costume I like, this time with a different pattern and blue/purple color scheme that is really pretty. With this costume you get the dress, the hat, and a cute petticoat to give the skirt some life. I recommend picking up some adorable white thigh highs to match.

Next up is by far the most fantastically colorful Hatter costume on the net, featured up above. With this costume you get the gorgeous multi-color dress with pink handkerchief, a cute pink neck tie and the top hat. You can get a matching petticoat to give the outfit a bit of oomph here.

Want to stay away from the bright colors and go for something a little more sophisticated and demure? Check out the costume on the left: a really elegant and refined take on the look. This costume comes with the jacket, corset, skirt, bow tie, hat and even matching boot toppers, which is cool. I really love the pattern on this costume - it is very beautiful.

Last but not least, featured on the right, is this outfit from California Costumes. I think it invokes a little of the style and color scheme of the Hatter from Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland, don't you think? I especially like the little yellow necktie, it works very well. Be sure to pick up a petticoat to give the skirt some lift and volume.

So there you have it, my top five favorite Mad Hatter costumes. If you liked this post, be sure to visit the rest of my blog for all the best costumes for women on the net! In particular, be sure to check out my post on the best Alice costumesQueen of Hearts costumes, and Red Queen costumes

How to Cosplay as the Red Queen (Alice in Wonderland)

Disguise Women's Red Queen Deluxe (Movie)
Disguise Inc Women's Alice In
Wonderland Movie - Sassy
Queen Adult Costume
Loved Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland? So did I, that's what has inspired me to make this post detailing how to cosplay as the Red Queen, voiced by Helena Bonham-Carter. Its a colorful, very eye-catching look, plus its fun to run around parties asking who ate all the tarts. Its perfect for Halloween. Lets get going then! Can't be late.

To start of with, you'll need the basic dress. There are two options, the first being a long skirted dress which is most true to the original design, featured above. It comes with a petticoat to give the skirt some lift, so you don't have to worry about that, plus you get a free crown as well.

The second option is a more sassy, sexy and flirty version of the costume with a shorter skirt, featured on the right. This outfit comes with the costume dress, a petticoat to give it some volume, a collar with attached choker, a cute little crown and a pair of white knee high stockings.

Once you've chosen your costume, let me suggest some fun accessories for it. This red royal sceptre goes fantastically with either outfit, as does this pair of red and black shoes by Pleaser. These black baby-doll Mary Janes by Leg Avenue also look great with both costumes.

Red Queen Wig
Once you have the costume down, its time to fluff up your hair and do your makeup. Above is cute Red Queen wig that you can buy to get the look quickly, easily, and without the need to perm and dye the living daylights out of your hair. Meanwhile, below is a fun tutorial on how to achieve the Red Queen's makeup, using Snazaroo Facepaint (White), talcum powder, Urban Decay Eyeshadow (Painkiller), elf Liquid Liner and MAC Lipstick (Red).

And there you have it! One quick and easy Red Queen costume that is sure to look amazing regardless of the occasion. I hope you found everything you are looking for, and if you enjoyed this post and its suggestions be sure to check out the rest of my blog for all the best costume ideas for women on the net! Top Five Alice in Wonderland Costumes

Disguise Alice in Wonderland Costume
I love the Alice in Wonderland look: it is one of the most iconic Disney protagonist designs, and really brings the character to life. This post is going to be looking at my personal favorite Alice costumes, and I hope that you find one you adore! If you are shopping from the UK or EU, you can find loads of great Alice costumes here.

Before we get started, note that all of these costumes would go very well with this adult Alice in Wonderland wig, as well as these white stockings. It is also wise to pick up a white petticoat in order to give the skirts on these pretty costumes a bit of lift.

Up above is the most standard looking Alice costume, based on the dress worn by Alice in the original Disney movie. It's simple, its cute, its pretty and you can't go wrong with it. Each costume comes with the dress, the hair ribbon and the little matching gloves. There's a few variations that you can get. You can also get another basic Alice dress with a longer hem here, for example.

California Costumes Alice
On the right in a costume based on the costume worn by  Mia Wasikowska in Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland. Its really pretty! Its a more mature and stylized look that does away with the apron, but is still very recognizable as Alice's dress. You can get a short skirted adaptation here that is really attractive.

On the left is yet another pretty short-skirted design without the apron, this time with a sexy cut out that shows off what you've got! I love the checkered pattern and the little bottle and cake detail on the skirt. Its really cute! This one comes with a petticoat, so there is no need to buy one separately, and you also the hair ribbon and some adorable matching gloves.

I've always loved the Rebel Toons series of costumes (check them out, they are very cute!) and now they have added Alice to the series! This shiny, sleek little number is very sexy, and looks incredibly unique.

Last but not least, we have the costume on the right: a snazzy number with an alternative, more gothic color scheme of black and white.  I think the addition of black to the costume really adds style and makes it stand out from the rest, do you? A lot of people recommend getting a size bigger than you'd normally get, as it is a very fitted outfit. If you are going for this cutie, be sure to pick up the matching wig too.

So those are my top five favorite Alice in Wonderland costumes for women. Hope you liked them as much as I did! How to Dress as Sally from The Nightmare Before Christmas

Adult Sally Costume Licensed Costume from Disguise Inc
UK Sally Costumes Available Here
Moving on to some more unconventional Christmas costumes for women based on my favorite Christmas movie of all time (no, not Die Hard); The Nightmare Before Christmas. Specifically, we'll be looking at how to dress up as Sally, everybody's favorite ragdoll. Its a cute look, very iconic and a lot of fun to dress as no matter what the event. It also makes a lovely couples costume, if you get a friend to go as Jack Skellington!

Disguise Women's
Sassy Sally
First of all you'll need Sally's colorful patchwork dress. I've included my two favorite costumes, a longer dress and a short and sexy one. You can also get one like the one on the left in a more glam and figure hugging style if that takes your fancy. Both of these costumes have the advantage of coming with the red yarn style wigs and the stitched style gloves you see in the pictures, so that saves needing to style your hear or buy a wig separately.

Stitched Adult Tights
Black and White
You can also get stitched skin tights to save you the trouble of covering yourself in makeup - they are a fantastic touch to any Sally costume and they look really good. They are handy in that they can be used in other costumes too, like Frankenstein costumes.

Finally, you'll need to do up your makeup to look like Sally. Its a pretty elaborate look, so it's optional, but if you can pull it off you will look utterly amazing. To this end I've included and excellent video tutorial on how to do the Sally makeup for you to check out below.

The Best Edward Scissorhands Costume for Women

Miss Edward Scissorhands Horror
Sexy Adult Women's Costume

Mrs Edward Scissorhands Costume

Just because your favorite movie character costume is worn by a male character doesn't mean us ladies should ever feel left out. Edward Scissorhands is one of Tim Burton's best known classic movies, and the eponymous main character one of the most recognizable. So when I found an awesome female version of the character's costume, I just had to share it with you all! If you are shopping from the UK or EU, get this costume here.

This costume comes with sexy dress with attached sleeve and loose sleeve, the iconic Scissorhands gloves, the matching wig you see on the model (that's pretty cool, you don't normally get wigs as part of a costum set!), the choker and the belt. All you need to finish off the look are some torn up thigh highs (you could buy these ones and cut a few holes in them) and some sweet black boots. If you don't like the wig that comes with it (some of my friends think it's a little too glam for Edward), check out this alternative.

To perfect your Edward Scissorhands costume, you might want to have a go at recreating the character's unique skin look with makeup. The video below is one of my favorite Edward Scissorhand makeup tutorials on the net - give it a watch!
