Top Five Most Groovy 60's Hippie Costumes for Women

FunWorld Women's Feelin' Groovy Costume
Whether you are partying in the summer or in the winter, it's always the right time of year to bring back some of that 60s magic into your costume theme for your next party. I've been checking out some of the grooviest hippie costumes for my next costume outing, and I've found some pretty sweet ones! I thought I would share my top five personal favorites here with you all, so let's take a look. If you are shopping from the UK or EU, head here for some great hippie costumes.

Roma Costume
Hippie Hottie
First of all, featured above, is the FunWorld Feelin' Groovy costume, a cute pink little number with a spectacular wavy polka dot and flower power print design. The long baggy sleeves are iconic of sixties fashion, and the pattern is pretty eye-catching, meaning you are sure to stand out from the crowd even at a 60s themed party! If you like the boots the model is wearing in the picture, you can find those here.

Women's Hippie Love Child Costume
If that costume is just not crazy colorful enough for you and you want something with a bit more rainbow power (and flower power!), then you might like the funky, psychedelic costume dress on the right. Each set comes with the multi-colored dress, the fringe vest and the matching headband. You can find the matching brown ruffled leg warmers you see in the picture here. It's a really cool look that I highly recommend!

If you are groovin' in cold weather or just want a costume that is a bit more conservative, then the beautiful paisley patterned and multi-colored, long-skirted dress costume on the left might be just perfect for you. Each set of this outfit comes with the amazing paisley dress, the long brown vest, and the matching headband. You can get some John Lennon Style sunglasses to go with it here - in fact those glasses would look pretty awesome with any of these costumes!

Groovy Chick Costume
If you like the paisley pattern, above is another costume you might want to check out, a cute lime green number with a funky orange paisley print and a really colorful and funky belt. You can even get the matching orange boots for it here. Note that the costume is backless, so it may not be best for cold weather unless you wear a shirt underneath.

Forum Novelties Women's Flower
Power Hippie 60's Costume
Last but not least, we have this cool and interestingly patterned light pink hippy costume by Forum Novelties. With each set you get the pink and yellow top with the long sleeves, the signature bell bottom pants of the 60s, and a matching yellow headband to finish off the look.

If you like the pattern of this costume, but want it in dress form, you can get a very pretty dress version of it here. You can also get a dress version with pockets here.

So there you have it! My top five favorite hippie and 60s costumes for women. I hope you liked my selections and found one that is perfect for you. If not, be sure to shopping around, because there are plenty more hippy costumes out there!
