I love the Alice in Wonderland look: it is one of the most iconic Disney protagonist designs, and really brings the character to life. This post is going to be looking at my personal favorite Alice costumes, and I hope that you find one you adore! Disguise Unisex - Adult Alice Movie Dress

Before we get started, note that all of these costumes would go very well with this adult Alice in Wonderland wig, as well as these white stockings. It is also wise to pick up a white petticoat in order to give the skirts on these pretty costumes a bit of lift.

Up above is the most standard looking Alice costume, based on the dress worn by Alice in the original Disney movie. It's simple, its cute, its pretty and you can't go wrong with it. Each costume comes with the dress, the hair ribbon and the little matching gloves. There's a few variations that you can get. You can also get another basic Alice dress with a longer hem here, for example.

On the right in a costume based on the costume worn by  Mia Wasikowska in Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland. Its really pretty! Its a more mature and stylized look that does away with the apron, but is still very recognizable as Alice's dress. You can get a short skirted adaptation here that is really attractive.

On the left is yet another pretty short-skirted design without the apron, this time with a sexy cut out that shows off what you've got! I love the checkered pattern and the little bottle and cake detail on the skirt. Its really cute! This one comes with a petticoat, so there is no need to buy one separately, and you also the hair ribbon and some adorable matching gloves.

I've always loved the Rebel Toons series of costumes (check them out, they are very cute!) and now they have added Alice to the series! This shiny, sleek little number is very sexy, and looks incredibly unique.

Last but not least, we have the costume on the right: a snazzy number with an alternative, more gothic color scheme of black and white.  I think the addition of black to the costume really adds style and makes it stand out from the rest, do you? A lot of people recommend getting a size bigger than you'd normally get, as it is a very fitted outfit. If you are going for this cutie, be sure to pick up the matching wig too.

I absolutely LOVED Marvel's The Avengers, plus all the individual hero movies that came out before it, and I can't wait for the second one to come out. This blog post is dedicated to all my fellow lady geeks and nerds who want a cool group costume idea for themselves and their friends to try out: why not dress up as the Avengers? This post is going to feature all the best Avengers costumes, just for you!

First of all, there's the patriotic Captain America. You can get a shiny vinyl jumpsuit like his, featured above, but there's other styles if that isn't your thing. For example, here's a cute dress version of the costume. Which ever you choose, don't forget to pick up Captain America's iconic stars and stripes shield, as most of the costumes don't come with one.

Second, we have my personal favorite of the Avengers: Iron Man. Marvel has released a shiny jumpsuit version of his suit as well, which you can see on the right. You can pick up the matching helmet which goes with it here. A cute and sexy dress version of the costume is also available. Also, because why not, here's a replica wrist repulsor. Have fun!

Next up is Black Widow, the femme fatale. Above is the officially licensed Marvel costume, which comes with pretty much everything you could ever need: a jumpsuit, two belts, a pair of glovettes, a pair of cuffs and a pair of boot covers. The only thing missing is the matching wig, which luckily you can pick up here.

Finally, check out this female adaptation of the Thor costume. It comes with the dress and the headpiece, and you can pick up the matching hammer here.

After a lot of waiting around for Marvel to release Hulk and Hawkeye costumes for women, we finally have some results! On the left is a stunning 'Miss Hulk' costume for all you ladies who want to go out and cause some carnage. Be sure to go all the way with some green body paint!

Meanwhile, below is a seller who makes custom Hawkeye costumes to your measurements, for both men and women. It's pricey, but its super authentic and realistic. Each set of this amazing cosplay includes the vest and pants with belt, matching gloves, a bracer, and a quiver.

Independence Day is creeping ever closer, and everyone is getting ready for some fantastic celebrations. This post is going to look at how you can spice up the party with some incredible patriotic stars and stripes costumes and fancy dress. Remember, these aren't just for the fourth of July - they're great for any costume party you want to add an American flair to. First up, if you live in a really hot State or plan on having a pool party, check out the sweet American flag themed bikini shorts above. You can a matching halter top here.

Another cute option is the slinky and sexy USA stars and stripes flag dress featured on the right. I love the shiny material - any woman is sure to stand out from the crowd in this gorgeous number.

Here's a cool idea for a costume I discovered recently: you know that famous 'We Can Do It" poster they hung up in factories during World War II? The name of the woman on the poster is Rosie the Rivetter (not her real name, but that's what we call her!) and it turns out you can get a costume version of her outfit! Pretty cool. How to Dress like Catelyn Stark from Game of Thrones

Just saw the second episode of Season four of Game of Thrones, and woooow. It's inspired me to go on the hunt for more Game of Thrones costumes for women, and I came across this gorgeous Catelyn Stark costume. Its really quite lovely, plus you can get it tailored to your measurements, so its sure to luck good. I'd recommend pairing it with this wig if you don't already have long brown hair. How to Cosplay as Sailor Moon

Sailor Moon is awesome. Despite...'odd' dubbing, it remains one of the most iconic anime to be imported to the west, and girls and boys alike adored it. This post is going to be looking at how best to dress up as the main character, Sailor Moon, a.k.a Serena, or Usagi in Japan. First of all, you'll need the iconic sailor senshi costume. The one above it just perfect, and comes with the dress, headband and gloves. It doesn't come with the boots, but luckily Funtasma do a very similar pair of boots that you can use to finish off the look. This headband is also a popular purchase among cosplayers who use this outfit.

Next up, you'll want to style your hair like Serena's. The easiest way to do it is with a beautiful blond wig that is pre-styled, like the one on the right. If you want a less natural and more cartoony look to fit the anime style better, brighter yellow wigs are also available to check out.

In my Princess Serenity cosplay post I mentioned that it is possible to style your own hair like Sailor Moon's if you are lucky enough to have long, thick blond hair, so I'll post the great video tutorial of how to do it here again. Remember that this look does require hair extensions in order to get the proper thickness, and you can find some good ones here. 

Finally, finish the look off with some props and accessories. Here's some of my suggestions:

• A Sailor Moon brooch based on the one she wears in the show
• Some beautiful Sailor Moon crescent moon earrings like these ones
• This prop replica of Sailor Moon's moon wand
