Pretty cool right? I think a great way to celebrate the horned-helmed warriors of old is for all you ladies to raid your local Halloween parties dressed in their traditional garb! This is my top five favorite Viking costumes for women 

First up, featured at the top of this page, is my number one favorite of these Viking beauties, the California Costumes Viking Vixen costume. I'm just completely in love with that amazing blue fur lined cape! Perfect for brief spells into the chill of the outdoors. At the top of the list, and the top of this page, is one for all of you mini-dress fans who want to show off your confidence and a bit of leg this trick-or-treating season. I love the variety of materials that it boasts - with shiny skin tight material for the main dress, chainmail style accents and sweet mesh for the sleeves, this is one eye-catching costume. What with Queen Victoria's long period of mourning, the most common style associated with Victorian clothing is gothic, dark and brooding. There are many amazing darkly colored Victorian style costumes and dresses out there. To avoid swamping you, I've picked out just a few of my favorites for this post.

My personal favorite is the amazing Lolita style dress featured as the top of this page. I'm a sucker for frills and bows, and this outfit provides in abundance. It would look amazing for high-class parties, masquerades, Victorian themed parties, and maybe even a garden party or two. If the weather is a little chilly where you live, this dress would look lovely paired with a black blouse like this one. 

If you prefer outfits with a lot less poof, the Victorian style still won't let you down. I particularly like the Victorian style Brocade Dinner Dress featured above, which combines steampunk color-schemes with a stunning and subtle Victorian theme. Each set of this costume comes with the lovely blouse and the matching long skirt. 

Another cool Victorian costume that I like is the mourning Widow Maker's costume by Forum Novelties on the right.I love the deep burgundy/black colors on this costume, they are so rich and eye-catching. I just love the velveteen look of the material on this dress, and the two tones of deep and rich colors of this outfit make it look incredibly regal. If you want a costume that is especially dainty, then take a look at the elegant and feminine baby blue costume on the left. With gentle colors and delicate embroidery, you are sure to stand out from the crowd. That's everything you need to look incredible!

Let's take a look.
