Top Five Ghost Bride Costumes for Halloween

California Costumes Women's Ghostly Bride Adult
What is more terrifying that a woman scorned risen from the dead? Very little in my opinion. That's what makes the terrifying brides of the damned a great costume idea for parties and trick or treating, and there are a lot of wonderful costumes to choose from. I've collected my top five favorite ghost bride costumes in one place for you to check out. Let's take a look! If you are shopping from the UK or EU, find great ghost bride costumes here.

Forum Novelties Women's Deluxe Victorian Ghost Bride Costume
Rubie's Costume Dead
Bride Costume
I'm a big fan of the more Victorian look in ghost brides, since most of the spooky ladies of urban legends got married in times long gone by. The market seems to agree with me too, because there are loads of old-fashioned style ghost bride costumes available out there: here are two of my favorites.

First is the lovely long corser-style ball gown costume made by Forum Novelties, featured above. Its a great option for those of you who want to look stunning without needing to show any skin, in the true Victorian fashion. Each set comes with the beautiful tiered wedding dress and the ghostly veil. You can get the matching dead flowers bouquet here, while the matching wig is available here. Be sure to get a petticoat to go under the dress in order to give the skirt the requisite volume to look truly amazing.

If you like the aesthetic but want something a little less poofy, check out the incredible grey and white lace dress costume on the right. I love how intricate the pattern is, and like the one above it proves you need to show very little to look alluring. Each set of this costume comes with everything you need: the gorgeous lace dress, the light veil, the rotting bouquet, and the matching brooch. You can buy the wig separately here. This costume makes a good couple costume too, as you can get an undead groom costume to match here. This dress costume would also look lovely with some silver lipstick, which you can find here

It's not all grey and white, you can find costumes with a dash of subdued color too if you want to stand out from the rest of the spirit world. Check out, for example, the gorgeous Manor Ghost Bride costume featured above. Each set comes with the elegant and delicate lilac and white dress, the veil, and the dainty bouquet.

If you prefer a more gothic look, you might like the lovely black ghost bride costume on the left. This costume includes the black dress, the veil, and the lovely gothic choker.

So there you have it! Those are my top five favorite ghostly bride costumes for this Halloween. I hope you found one that is perfect for you and have a lot of fun dressing up. Top Five Zombie Bride Costumes for Women and Girls

Womens Zombie Bride Costume
Urban legends make great inspiration for Halloween costumes, and everyone has heard at least one about the bride jilted at the altar who returns from the dead to terrorize those who've wronged her. There are some great zombie bride costumes out there, and I've collected all of my favorites into one place for you to check out. Let's get started! If you are shopping from the UK or EU, head here for Zombie Bride costumes.

Smiffy's Women's Till Death Do Us Part
Zombie Bride Costume with Dress Veil
First up, featured at the top of the page, is my most favorite, a gorgeous asymmetrical skirted dress with a very sexy and form fitting bodice and creepy blood splatters to finish off the look. I bet you'd look amazing in it! Each set of this costume comes with the blood-spattered dress, the veil, and the flower bouquet, which is everything you need! Just muss up your hair and put on your heels and you'll be ready to go.

If you are looking for something a little longer and more elegant, I highly recommend the cute 'Till Death Do Us Part' costume featured on the right. I like that the blood spatter and the tearing effect on this wedding dress is a little more subtle - makes it a bit more chilling when you notice it! The veil is longer too, giving it a more traditional look. This costume also comes with the dress, the flower bouquet and the veil, so you get everything you need in one go.

Rubie's Costume Dead Bride Costume
Women's Zombie Bride Costume
Fancy going a little more old school with a zombie Victorian bride? Then check out the awesome Dead Bride costume by Rubie's Costumes, featured above. I love the lace detail on the dress! This costume comes with the dress, a veil, the bouquet, and a cute brooch. You can get the matching wig separately here.

White isn't the only color on the table for undead wives - there arw a couple of great black and grey zombie bride costumes available out there, such as the cool outfit on the left. Each set of it comes with the lacy dress and a matching headpiece. This is a good one for couple coordinating too - you can get a matching groom costume here

If you're more of a mini-dress kind of gal, there's a short and sexy black zombie bride costume available here which comes with a veil and the dress.

Zombie Bride Children Costume
Shopping for your daughter, not yourself? Well don't feel left out! Zombie bride costumes are a little more rare for kids, but I've found a great one made by Leg Avenue (great company, I use their costumes all the time as I've found consistently high quality!), featured above. Each costume comes with the dress with zombie arm texture and the cute veil.

Last but not least, you'll need to do your make-up. The sky is really the limit with this - you can do as little as splattering yourself with some fake blood or applying a bit of white foundation, or as much as the crazy pro-make up featured in the tutorial above. Either way you are sure to look amazing! I hope you've found everything you need and have a lot of fun dressing up. Be sure to check out the rest of my blog for all of the cutest and creepiest costumes for women and girls on the net!

How to Dress Up as Emily (Tim Burton's The Corpse Bride)

Corpse Bride Dlx Adult Costume
Big fan of Tim Burton movies? Why not dress up as the titular Corpse Bride for Halloween? Above is the perfect costume for cosplaying as Emily, which comes with the gorgeous dress, the blue and white wig and the matching veil, and you can get a cute dying flowers style bouquet to finish off the look. If you like your costumes to show off a little more skin, you can get a very sexy version of the costume with a revealing asymmetrical skirt here

Next, you'll need to do up your hair! Emily has blue hair, and you can find a great blue wig to pull off the look right here. Last but not least, you'll need some pretty elaborate makeup if you want to look exactly like the Corpse Bride, but it is actually easier to recreate than you might think. Above is a wonderful tutorial that will teach you everything you need to know!
